Basti Vikas Samiti (BVS) is a professionally managed not-for-profit organization established under the SR Act 1860. BVS is focused on social development through advocacy, capacity building, awareness and youth-oriented programs on various social issues. BVS has, in a short span of time, achieved remarkable heights in the development sector in eastern Uttar Pradesh. It was awarded as the best voluntary organization by the Nehru Yuva Kendra in 2009.
Basti Vikas Samiti has three divisions for effective enforcement of it’s activities. These divisions are headed by a team of young and dedicated people having expertise in their areas.
Basti Vikas Samiti is very sensitive to the environmental issues. This website goes green just as an attempt to create public awareness for environment. |
